I know that plants you get from stores or sales are often root-bound and do very badly when any kind of change occurs but I find it almost funny when you get a plant and you re-pot it or whatever and it's just like "thank you for setting me free"
#this story comes from a mexican honeysuckle that my roommate got#despite being “well taken care of” the thing was in some questionable... sand... clay... stuff...#i placed it outside to see where it would do well#and it was suffocating in every place i put it#i finally repot it into some normal fucking soil#and its so happy#the soil was so sandy and heavy that it ripped up some roots on the way out despite my best efforts#but its still doing much better#my posts#dragon speaks
